Covid19 Travel with AirBNB To KOA La Junta, Colorado

After a long dusty trail through Oklahoma into Wichita, Kansas and over, we steered into the KOA Campgrounds and Cabins in La Junta, Colorado that we booked through AirBnB. Road-weary and slightly dejected from far too many disappointments at seemingly all shut down breweries to stop at along the way, the sole reason for travelling that particularly lonesome stretch of highway during the COVID19 Pandemic, we idle in front of the La Junta KOA office as the sun sets over Otero County.

Making Memories: A Central Texas Wildflower Festival

Neil got to come home again this weekend!! It was past eight o’clock and Kaya was already asleep.  I was up doing the dishes as is my routine every night after she goes to bed. I was a bit antsy this time because I knew her Daddy would be coming through that door any minute…

The Best Amazon Products for Toddler Travel

Most of you either know or can at least imagine how awful travelling with a toddler could be.  Fortunately, we have a curious little girl with a taste for car snacks (who doesn’t…amiright?!), books, and other entertainment that’s easy to translate into car activities appropriate for toddler travel.  As she gets older, we’ll add to these activities with more age-appropriate things to do! (Busy bags…we’re coming for you!)
