A week after I got home from Houston, we made the rather Abrupt decision that Neil would be “moving” to the Dallas area for an amazing job opportunity. while Kaya and I stayed behind with the land and the animals.

I have wanted to be a mother for pretty much my entire life. There are a number of reasons why but what sticks out most to me of those reasons is because of my relationship with my mom.
I was brought up in a beautiful and loving home where children were seen and never heard. My childhood was quintessential “Pleasantville”…at least the way I remember it.
