While the world seemed to and still is trying to implode around us in 2020, we keep the peace and positivity rolling hard at our house. 2020 was a journey of revelations in our house. My husband and I have learned so many lessons and have gained a greater appreciation for each other, our family and clarity surrounding our life goals (both separately and together as a family). What I learned was to make time for myself and to encourage my family members to do the same. I found myself doing a lot of soul-searching and negativity clearing this year while also realizing my truest gifts and refocusing my energy on how to serve and entertain my family and the community. One of the hobbies we both rediscovered this year was to read books every day, on our level, not just to our daughter.

I won’t lie, it took a minute to really grab onto the Chewy.com revolution. I know, it makes slim to no sense, considering we were quick to jump on the grocery delivery trend earlier this year (check out our Imperfect Foods review here). But now, we’ve decided to cross over into Pet Product delivery instead of shopping at multiple stores like Costco for their foo and PetCo or PetSmart for other various items. There is NOTHING WORSE than having an itchy scalp. (ok, I can think of a few worse things, but it’s definitely “up there”) I’m not talking about dry scalp or dandruff or build up that itches, but the feeling that you’re dealing with something more…sinister. More…taboo. Yup, I’m talking lice here. The creepy crawly bugs and their eggs (nits) that mysteriously make their way onto yours or your child’s head. Something that blows my mind and something that ALL lice experts agree on is that you can only get them from SOMEBODY. My question is, okaaaay…but how did that first person get it?!
